• Designing, building and distributing Nautik, arguably the best visual Kubernetes experience on macOS, iOS and iPadOS.
• Designing and building Surve Mobility's smart mobility operations cloud platform, scaling the software to 1M+ optimized operational tasks for Voi, Lime, Sixt, Share Now, WeShare and several other mobility providers and the company to 500+ FTE.
• Building a mobile, battery-powered DC EV charging station for Chargery, implementing the ISO 15118 vehicle communication flow in Rust.
• Building and maintaining hap-rs, the first and only Rust implementation of the Apple HomeKit Accessory Protocol (HAP), now superseded by the Matter standard.
• Building and running messaging infrastructure for several large scale IoT cloud setups, scaling to tens of thousands of devices.
• Migrating the cloud infrastructure landscapes of several companies to Kubernetes and from x86 to aarch64, saving energy, cutting costs, and improving uptime of systems.
• Building and leading several two-pizza-sized engineering teams, ensuring everyone involved being happy, healthy and productive.
